Induct-A-Core
The product INDUCT-A-CORE
can be best described as one designed to achieve corrosion resistant
and magnetic characteristics for special applications in disc, strip
and sheet form. It consists of 304 stainless / carbon steel / 304 stainless
on one side of a tri-ply aluminum core and 304 stainless on the other.
Thickness:
Induct-A-Core is available in thicknesses from .072" to .156".
Other thicknesses available with Clad Metals' approval.
Widths:
Minimum width 3". Maximum width 24". Widths greater than 24"
considered upon evaluation by Engineering Department.
Lengths:
Sheet up to 72" long. Blanks from 8-3/4" to 21-3/4" diameter
available in thicknesses up to .156". Longer lengths considered
upon evaluation by Engineering Department.
Stainless Steel
Thicknesses:
Standard Stainless clad ferritic Stainless Steel or mild Steel thicknesses
from .021" up to .040" can be provided. The opposite layer
of Type 304 Stainless can be from .010" or heavier. Alternate thicknesses
are available upon approval by Engineering Department.
Tempers:
Material is available in temper equivalent to "F". Other tempers
must be submitted for approval by Engineering Department.
Availability:
Delivery approximately 6 to 12 weeks after receipt of order based upon
quantity, size, and strength of market.
