Duranel III
The product DURANEL
III can be best described as a stainless steel flat rolled product with
a core of aluminum. The material consists of Type 304 stainless steel
claddings on each side of an aluminum core. Analysis of aluminum can
be adjusted to meet certain specifications of the customer.
Thickness:
DURANEL III is available in thicknesses from .063" to .250".
Tolerances of product same as those used by aluminum industry.
Widths:
Available to 24" wide.
Lengths:
Sheet up to 72" long. Blanks from 8-3/4" to 22-1/2" diameter
available in thicknesses up to .125".
Stainless Steel
Thicknesses:
Available with .010", .012" and .015" Type 304 stainless
steel clad on each side of aluminum core. Heavier stainless claddings
available upon request subject to approval by Engineering Department.
Tempers:
Material is available in temper equivalent to "F". Other tempers
must be submitted for approval by Engineering Department.
Availability:
Delivery approximately 6 to 12 weeks after receipt of order based upon
quantity, size, and strength of market.
