Duranel II
The product DURANEL
II consists of a Type 304 stainless steel clad on one side of a tri-ply
aluminum material consisting of 1145 on either side of 3004. The product
contains the characteristics of 300 Series stainless steel on one surface
and the type of exposed pure aluminum on the other that will permit
the ease of porcelan enameling.
Thickness:
DURANEL II is available in thicknesses from .063" to .250".
Gauges above .250" to 1" considered upon submission to Engineering
Department. Tolerances of product same as those used by aluminum industry.
Widths:
Minimum width 3". Maximum width 24". Widths greater than 24"
considered upon evaluation by Engineering Department.
Lengths:
Sheet up to 72" long. Blanks from 8-3/4" to 22-1/2" diameter
available in thicknesses up to .156". Longer lengths considered
upon evaluation by Engineering Department.
Stainless Steel
Thicknesses:
Available with .010", .012" and .015" Type 304 claddings.
Thicker stainless steel or alternate analysis upon approval by Engineering
Department.
Tempers:
Material is available in temper equivalent to "F". Other tempers
must be submitted for approval by Engineering Department.
Availability:
Delivery approximately 6 to 12 weeks after receipt of order based upon
quantity, size, and strength of market.
